Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 11 of us highlighting Close To My Heart’s Watercolor Paints! This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.
If you are coming from Michelle Johns’s Blog, you are on the right track!
Today I created an easy card, waiting for the watercolor to dry was the most time consuming part. I used the Close To My Heart Watercolor Paints to create the background for my sentiment. I then cut the thanks sentiment from the Thin Cuts – Thanks Die and then placed several layers of embossing powder on the die, heating them in between, to give it a raised look. Then it was quick assembly to complete the card.
Here is the list of Close To My Heart products I used to create this card:
- Watercolor Paints Z3132
- Paintbrush Set Z3188
- Watercolor Paper Z3146
- Thin Cuts – Hello & Thanks Z3259
- VersaMark Ink Pad Z891
- Ranger Princess Gold Embossing Powder Z2066
- Craft Heater Z555
- Tweezers Z1382
- Bonding Memories Glue Pen Z553
- SureCut Deluxe Craft Paper Trimmer Z1783
